The Ministry of Labor and Social Policy with the support of the OSCE Mission to Skopje and the Center for Change Management is opening a call for male and female workers in the public sector who wish to upgrade their knowledge and skills and to become trainers on non-discrimination and the obligation to promote equality in the public sector.

 

The trainings are part of project activities supported by the OSCE Mission to Skopje within the “Strengthening the rule of law and human rights in North Macedonia II”.  As part of the project activities, a Program for capacity building on non-discrimination and the obligation to promote equality in the public sector is being created for 200 representatives from the public sector, with adequate representation of women and men and the communities.

 

The trainings will take place on September 5, 2022, September 6, 2022, September 12, 2022, and September 13, 2022 at the Resource Center for Gender Responsive Policy Making and Budgeting.

 

The training program is to provide knowledge in the areas of non-discrimination and equality, as well as skills for trainers so as to enable them to transfer their knowledge to other male and female training participants in the public sector in the most effective and efficient way.

Regular employees of institutions of the public sector are eligible to apply for the trainings.

•             Applicants need to have minimum required work experience of two years in their institutions and to be category B or C male and female employees.

•             Applicants need to demonstrate basic knowledge of the topics of non-discrimination and equality and to include their experience in and/or knowledge of the aforesaid topics in the text of their application.

•             Applicants need to state an adequate motivation for their participation in the training in their application.
