The Resource Center for Gender Responsive Policy Making and Budgeting was established by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy in partnership with the UN Women office in North Macedonia (Decision of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia for establishing a Resource Center).
The Center aims to assist the efforts of the Republic of North Macedonia for systematic and sustainable implementation of gender responsive budgeting as a tool in policy making and budget processes.
The Resource Center provides trainings to enhance the capacity of the civil servants in the area of gender equality and gender responsive budgeting.
It is a center of knowledge and provides research, analysis and other resources related to gender equality and gender responsive budgeting.
The Resource Center provides mentoring and support for inclusion of the gender perspective in the public finance management, strategic planning and policy making of the state institutions.
The work of the Resource Center takes place in special premises of the MLSP in the center of Skopje and through this online platform.
The Resource Center for Gender Responsive Policy Making and Budgeting was established by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, within the project "Promoting Gender Responsive Policies and Budgets: Towards Transparent, Inclusive and Accountable Governance in the Republic of North Macedonia", implemented by UN Women, with financial support from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and the Swedish International Cooperation and Development Agency - SIDA.
