The Resource Center for Gender Responsive Policy Making and Budgeting was established by the Ministry of Social Policy, Demography and Youth (MSDBY) in 2022.

The Resource Center provides training to improve the capacities of civil servants in the field of gender equality and gender responsive budgeting.

It is a knowledge center and provides research, analysis and other resources related to gender equality and gender responsive budgeting. The Resource Center provides mentoring and support for the inclusion of a gender perspective in public financial management, strategic planning and policy making of state institutions.

The Resource Center for Gender Responsive Policy Making and Budgeting was opened by the Ministry of Social Policy, Demography and Youth, within the framework of the project "Promoting Gender Responsive Policies and Budgets: Towards Transparent, Inclusive and Accountable Governance in the Republic of North Macedonia", implemented by UN Women, with financial support from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency - Sida.
