On December 24, 2025, at the Resource Center for Gender Responsive Policy Making and Budgeting, a Basic Training on Gender Responsive Budgeting was successfully held.
The training was intended for administrative officials with short work experience and participants who have not had the opportunity to become familiar with the concepts of gender equality, and are directly involved in creating policies, programs and budgets in their institutions.
The participants acquired basic knowledge about the principles of gender responsive budgeting, the integration of the gender perspective in public policies and budget processes, as well as the role of institutions in promoting gender equality.
The training was conducted by employees of the Department for Gender Responsive Policies and Gender Responsive Budgeting at the Sector for Equal Opportunities, together with administrative officials - trainers, who with their expertise and practical experience contributed to the successful implementation of the training.
This activity is part of the continuous efforts to strengthen the capacities of institutions and promote the gender-responsive creation and implementation of public policies and budgets.
