The Resource Center for Gender Responsive Policymaking and Budgeting conducted two two-day trainings on gender equality and anti-corruption this week in collaboration with UN Women and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Good Governance Policies with the support of the Ministry of Social Policy, Demography and Youth and Sweden.
The trainings brought together two mixed groups of a total of 40 civil servants and anti-corruption experts who are actively involved in the development and implementation of policies to strengthen integrity and equality in institutions.
The sessions covered ways to integrate a gender perspective into anti-corruption strategies and addressed a wide range of practical topics from principles of good governance, ethics and conflict of interest management, to transparency, access to information, responsible lobbying and whistleblower protection mechanisms.
This joint effort strengthens our commitment to promoting gender-responsive governance and ensuring policies and practices that contribute to a fairer and more inclusive society.
