On 19 and 20 May 2025, the Ministry of Social Policy, Demography and Youth, together with UN Woman, hosted the Regional Meeting of the Western Balkan Family Mechanisms. Together with experts and institutions from the entire region, they discussed what is needed for gender equality to become an everyday reality.

The Ministry of Social Policy, Demography and Youth in cooperation with the OSCE Mission continued with the Mentoring Program "Women for Women" to encourage the professional development and leadership of women in the public sector, intended for women in regular employment in the Ministry. A two-day mentorship training was held at the Resource Center for Gender-Responsible Policy Making and Budgeting on May 7 and 8, 2025.
The Resource Center for Gender-Responsive Policymaking and Budgeting was the site where a consultative meeting was held to establish a homelessness register format, within the framework of the project "ComeHome - Combating Homelessness in the Western Balkans", organized by the Ministry of Social Policy, Demography and Youth and the Citizens' Association Kindness.
