The Minister stated that the Resource Center was opened for the purpose of conducting trainings and collecting material resources such as research and analyses that will advance the knowledge of public administration.
The Resource Center has so far conducted training on four topics, namely, “Basic Training on Gender Responsive Budgeting”; “Monitoring and Evaluation of Achievements from Gender Budget Statements”; “Gender Budget Statements – Report on Gender Responsive Budgeting” and “Gender Perspective in Public Finance – GRB”. Moreover, an online platform which includes all of the material resources was implemented. “This Center is unique in the region, so our goal is to turn it into a Regional Resource Center”, the Minister said.
Trenchevska pointed out that the efforts aimed at transforming the Resource Center into a Regional Resource Center for gender responsive policy making and budgeting will continue.
The Deputy Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo expressed gratitude for the opportunity to discuss the positive practices of the Republic of North Macedonia, which is a region leader in the gender equality area, and which will serve as a good example for the Republic of Kosovo.
The Center also has an online platform that contains all the material resources and serves to provide timely notification of planned trainings as well as the manner in which the participants can register and participate in them.
